Meet Sandra
Sandra D. Hoffmann is a passionate children's book author dedicated to creating stories that nurture young minds and inspire imagination. Through her enchanting tales, she helps children discover the magic within themselves and the world around them.
With a deep understanding of child development and emotional growth, Sandra crafts stories that are not only entertaining but also educational. Her debut book, "The Magic Jar," is the first in the Mind Growing Series, designed to help children develop emotional intelligence, creativity, and a love for reading.
She is currently a librarian and previously spent 12 years as a classroom teacher, with a strong focus on social-emotional learning and student-centered instruction. Sandra is certified in the Teaching Pyramid Observation Tool (TPOT), reflecting her commitment to positive, developmentally appropriate practices.
Before her work in education, Sandra spent nearly a decade as a journalist in Brazil, where she was born and raised. Her diverse professional background and cultural experiences deeply inform her writing and her passion for nurturing children’s emotional well-being through story.
Her Mission
Sandra’s mission is to create books that gently introduce children to mindfulness, nurturing the emotional awareness and inner calm that support a healthy, resilient mind.
